Welcome to my ePortfolio
In Fall 2023 I started my journey at Indiana University in Indianapolis. This ePortfolio includes a journey map, my resume, and reflections on my first semester as a college student.
About Me
Bio:
My name is Audra Hirner and I am a Pre-Nursing student here at IUPUI. I hope to become a nurse practitioner eventually but I have not chosen a specific field. I graduated from Brownsburg High School with an academic honors diploma and recognition from NHS and NAHS. I am also active in the Girl Scouts community and often volunteer for them. For my future career, I am passionate about socializing with patients and making them feel as comfortable as possible in an uncomfortable situation. In my off time I enjoy drawing with alcohol markers, reading fantasy novels, and trying new things with friends.
My Major & Career Goals

I am majoring in Pre-Nursing and currently pursuing a minor in German and Public Health. I chose my major because I have always been drawn to the medical field and enjoy jobs where I get to interact with others. I chose a German minor because I am passionate about expanding my horizons to other languages and cultures. I chose a Public Health minor because it's adjacent to my major and is very interesting to me.
My current career goal to to become an RN. This is important to me because it allows me to have the privilege to work as a nurse. Eventually I would like to get my MSN and become a nurse practitioner to ensure I am always challenges myself with new goals and allowing myself new opportunities.
